Unique Model
WAF uses a unique model. Instead of sending U.S. missionaries and professionals into a foreign culture, we utilize developing professionals already living in the culture, language-trained, relevant, and drastically less costly to fund.
Relevancy
WAF selects national advocates based on their relevancy to the culture and the issues of direst need. We select individuals who are already working on issues of girl-child education, gender equality, child defilement, youth mentoring and more.
Efficiency
There’s no training period for our advocates. They are already working in third-world communities, with the neediest people groups. Our resources and professional partnerships only enhance and empower the work they are already doing. More bang for the buck.
Advocacy
Our national advocates are effective, strong voices for change that transforms lives. They have a platform, and the attention of their own people.
