Who
Who are we?
We are people whose passion, energy and insight come from a personal relationship with God. We are motivated by the things that break the heart of God. We are humbled by the fact that such a God would accept us, flawed humanity, and give us a voice and open doors in broken places.
In our cross-cultural efforts, we are about:
- partnerships that empower the voiceless, the downtrodden, those with untapped potential
- partnerships that bring together the resources of a God-blessed nation with people in deep and desperate need
- partnerships that equip U.S. developing professionals to drive truly transformational efforts in third-world communities
We don’t believe we can go into communities of horrific poverty and disease armed only with the gospel message. And yet, we know we can’t address HIV/AIDS, health and sanitation, child defilement, girl child education and empowerment without bringing the life-transforming power of a faith in God.
Because our primary focus is making a real difference in broken places, we’re not about travelling the globe in the name of “missions,” making little impact, driving no transformational change and funding it all on someone else’s bank account. We’re not in this for the spiritual-emotional high that cultural interactions give us. We realize that this is a byproduct of meaningful cultural interactions, but we don’t want to stop there. We use all interactions as building blocks to develop projects and programs that meet real needs, drive sustainable and transformational change.
We are humble enough to know that we don’t have all the answers…not by a long shot! We are also crazy enough to think we’re onto something real and good. We hope you agree.
